New York City {lovelies via pinterest}

When I go on vacation I always buy two things. 1 – a perfume or lotion so that every time I wear it, it will bring back memories of the trip and 2 – a piece of art with my destination as the subject.  I like the idea that I can buy something beautiful to remind me of my vacation that I will actually use in my home.  Since I’m spending the weekend in New York City I’ll be on the hunt for the perfect piece.  Here are three I found through Pinterest that I wouldn’t mind having.

Beautiful Bunting {lovelies via pinterest}

I’ve got a project in the works that I’ll show you guys in just a few days.  Part of that project involves a pretty bunting.  Aren’t bunting’s so fun?  There are so many different styles you can make them and things you can put them on.  And they’re so simple!  A prefect way to add some fun to anything. For a little inspiration for my project I ran over to Pinterest to get a few ideas.  Here are 5 of my favorite ways to use a bunting.

Do you have any fun projects planned that could use a little bunting to pretty it up?

S’more Please {lovelies via pinterest}

Summer nights mean camp fires.  And camp fires mean S’mores, naturally.  I’m a fan of s’mores in all forms.  Put some graham, marshmallow & chocolate all together and I’m going to love it.  And probably won’t be able to stop eating it once I start.  We don’t have a fire pit so I decided to find a few recipes that I could make.  I’ve tried this first one and it is super good.  And I’m sure the other two from Love From The Oven just as yummy, too. They sure look amazing.

Pretty Mani’s {lovelies via pinterest}

I’ve never really been one for painting my fingernails.  They always just end up all chipped and gross looking way too fast and I’m too change it up and fix it as often as I should.  But lately I’ve been giving it a try more often.  And Pinterest has some great inspiration, like always.

What’s your favorite way to paint your nails?  Are you a classic girl or do you go for something a little funky?
